Being accessible to our clients is one of our key attributes. We are on street level in the main street of Caloundra's CBD which affords wheelchair accessibility. Our more senior clients appreciate not having to negotiate any stairs.
We share most people's dislike of answering machines. When a client rings Bill Lyons Solicitors, they are always answered by a friendly human being - not a computer generated voice!

Principal
Bill completed his law degree at the University of Queensland in 1978. He began his legal career with a Brisbane firm before working for two years as the Company Secretary of Suncorp at its Head Office.
In 1989 he commenced working as a Solicitor in Caloundra and established Bill Lyons Solicitors in 1996.
Bill's main enjoyments other than his large family are surfing, watching football, and appreciating Caloundra's beautiful natural environment.
Office Administrator/Personal Assistant to Jane Macdonnell
Colleen has spent over twenty years in legal administration. Bill Lyons Solicitors has had the benefit of her breadth of experience and knowledge since 2003. Her role as PA to Jane Macdonnell, the firm's Commercial Solicitor, helps ensure seamless, efficient business and commercial property transactions.
Conveyancing Manager
Linda arrived at Bill Lyons Solicitors in April 2007 via Maleny, Cairns and New Zealand after immigrating here in 1999. She has been working in the legal profession for 23 years in both countries.
Linda is married to Lloyd and has four adult children with five grandchildren. She has many interests and loves to keep herself active and busy. She enjoys four-wheel driving, camping, seeing the sights of Australia and collects many photos which she displays in her Creative Memories Storybooks.
Wills and Estates Manager
Debbie began her secreterial career working for a large accountancy firm in Cairns. Arriving in Caloundra in 1983, she worked for around 16 years in the banking industry before joining Bill Lyons Solicitors in 1999. She now has many years of experience as a legal secretary, working in the area of Wills and Estates, as well as Conveyancing.
Senior Conveyancing Clerk
Sonia commenced working in the legal industry 21 years ago when she completed her Year 12 Certificate. She has worked in numerous fields of law in Sydney, Canberra and Queensland from a junior position to a Partner's PA in an international law firm.
Sonia had a "sea change" a few years ago when she moved to Queensland and enjoys reading, cooking, gardening and spending time with her children. Sonia can speak Croatian as a second language and her goal in life is to travel around Europe.
Cert III Business Administration, Conveyancing Assistant
Bec worked in Townsville as a Legal Secretary/Conveyancer for two years before moving to the Sunshine Coast at the start of 2009 and taking up employment with Bill Lyons Solicitors as a Conveyancing Assistant. She is really enjoying the ever changing role.
Away from the office she enjoys playing netball and exploring South East Queensland.
Legal Receptionist
Julie attended school on the Sunshine Coast and is enthusiastic about pursuing a legal career. As first point of contact for clients and associates, she offers friendly and approachable assistance, based on a history of working closely with customers and management.
When not at work, Julie likes to appreciate the Sunshine Coast lifestyle with her friends and family.
